10月初，随着 Windows 10 新版本发布之后，微软也正式推出了 Windows Server 2019 服务器操作系统，WinServer 2019 与 Win10 基于相同的代码库。在Windows 10 Update出现问题后，Microsoft暂时删除了Windows Server 2019，以等待测试结果和Windows 10问题修复。
“我们暂时删除了Windows Server 2019和Windows Server版本1809的所有媒体，”微软表示，“如果您已经下载了媒体，请不要安装它，等到有更多信息可以继续。对于由此造成的任何不便，我们深表歉意。”
